Ibiye Camp
Ibiye Camp is a British-Nigerian artist, and educator based in London. Her work explores postcoloniality, technology, and the built environment, often utilizing architectural tools to create sound, video, textiles, augmented reality, and 3D objects, with a focus on the African Diaspora.
Ibiye’s work interrogates how systems of power operate within contemporary technological and cultural frameworks.
She is also an educator and currently co-runs a BA Design Studio called Studio Digital Native at the Design Academy Eindhoven with Rhiarna Dhaliwal and Emmy Bacharach. The studio examines how digital practices shape our understanding of the world, emphasizing collaboration and critical thinking.
